More than 550 female students from Sindh participated in the two-day training camp

All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association (ASPSCA), in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent-Sindh and Sindh Boy Scouts Association (SBSA), organized a two-day field training camp for female students at Gulistan Scouts Ground in Karachi on February 21 and 22, 2022. Over 550 female students from across the province took part. The theme was, “Sanf-e-Nazuk se Sanf-e-Ahaan Tak”.

According to a press release issued after the closing ceremony of the camp on Tuesday, February 22, the main purpose of the camp was to give confidence and encouragement to the female students to live in difficult conditions such as in any emergency or disaster and transform them from delicate to strong.

Commissioner Karachi Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Memon was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony. He appreciated the management of ASPSCA, Pakistan Red Crescent-Sindh and SBSA for organizing the camp for female students. “I salute to the parents of these students who allowed their children and encouraged them to participants in this camp”, said Commissioner Karachi.

Syed Haider Ali, Chairman All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association, thanked all the partners who helped make the camp a success. He also expressed his gratitude to Commissioner Karachi and other guests for attending the closing ceremony. Syed Haider Ali also appreciated the tremendous efforts of Muhammad Saleem, Chief Organizer of the camp and Vice Chairman of ASPSCA.

Kanwar Waseem, Provincial Secretary Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh said that the Red Crescent conducted training sessions for the participants on camp management and rules, first aid, emergency response, climate change and fire safety. In addition, the Red Crescent organized sessions on youth and volunteers and recruited hundreds of volunteers. Kanwar Waseem said a 24-hour first-aid post was also set up to deal with any emergency.

Syed Akhtar Meer, Provincial Secretary of Sindh Boy Scouts Association, also lauded all the female campers for their enthusiasm and interest in every activity in the camp. “The doors of the Scout Association are always open to the youth of our society,” he said.

All the guests and campers also planted 75 saplings as part of Pakistan’s 75th-anniversary celebrations. Later, teachers, school management, organizers, volunteers, company commanders, and camp management officers were awarded certificates and shields for rendering commendable services in the camp.

 آل سندھ پرائیویٹ اسکولز اینڈ کالجز ایسوسی ایشن نے پاکستان ریڈ کریسنٹ سندھ اور سندھ بوائے اسکاؤٹس ایسوسی ایشن کے اشتراک سے 21 اور 22 فروری 2022 کو کراچی کے گلستان اسکاؤٹس گراؤنڈ میں طالبات کے لیے پہلہ دو روزہ فیلڈ ٹریننگ کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا جس میں صوبے بھر سے 550 سے زائد طالبات نے شرکت کی۔ 22 فروری بروز منگل کیمپ کی اختتامی تقریب کے بعد جاری ہونے والی پریس ریلیز کے مطابق کیمپ کا بنیادی مقصد طالبات کو کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال یا آفت جیسے مشکل حالات میں جینے کا اعتماد اور حوصلہ دینا اور انہیں نازک سے مضبوط میں تبدیل کرنا تھا۔ اس کیمپ کی تھیم صنف نازک سے صنف آہن تک تھا۔

کمشنر کراچی محمد اقبال میمن اختتامی تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ انہوں نے طالبات کے لیے کیمپ کے انعقاد پر آل سندھ پرائیویٹ اسکولز اینڈ کالجز ایسوسی ایشن، پاکستان ریڈ کریسنٹ سندھ اور سندھ بوائے اسکاؤٹس ایسوسی ایشن کی انتظامیہ کو سراہا۔ کمشنر کراچی نے کہا کہ میں ان طلباء کے والدین کو سلام پیش کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے اپنے بچوں کو اس کیمپ میں شرکت کی اجازت دی اور ان کی حوصلہ افزائی کی۔

آل سندھ پرائیویٹ اسکولز اینڈ کالجز ایسوسی ایشن کے چیئرمین سید حیدر علی نے کیمپ کو کامیاب بنانے میں مدد کرنے والے تمام شراکت داروں کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے اختتامی تقریب میں شرکت کرنے پر کمشنر کراچی اور دیگر مہمانوں کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ سید حیدر علی نے کیمپ کے چیف آرگنائزر اور آل سندھ پرائیویٹ اسکولز اینڈ کالجز ایسوسی ایشن کے وائس چیئرمین محمد سلیم کی زبردست کاوشوں کو بھی سراہا۔

کنور وسیم، صوبائی سیکرٹری پاکستان ریڈ کریسنٹ سندھ نے کہا کہ ہلال احمر نے شرکاء کے لیے کیمپ مینجمنٹ اور قواعد، ابتدائی طبی امداد، ہنگامی ردعمل، موسمیاتی تبدیلی اور آگ سے حفاظت کے بارے میں تربیتی سیشنز کا انعقاد کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ ہلال احمر نے نوجوانوں اور رضاکاروں پر سیشنز کا اہتمام کیا اور سینکڑوں رضاکاروں کو بھرتی کیا۔ کنور وسیم نے کہا کہ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے 24 گھنٹے کی ابتدائی طبی امدادی پوسٹ بھی قائم کی گئی ہے۔ ڑکیاں بھی معاشرے کی اہم فرد ہیں اور ان کی ہر طرح کی تربیت ہماری ذمہ داری ہے۔

سندھ بوائے اسکاؤٹس ایسوسی ایشن کے صوبائی سیکریٹری سید اختر میر نے  کیمپ کی ہر سرگرمی میں تمام خواتین کیمپرز کے جوش و خروش اور دلچسپی کی تعریف کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسکاؤٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے دروازے معاشرے کے نوجوانوں کے لیے ہمیشہ کھلے ہیں۔

 تمام مہمانوں اور کیمپرز نے پاکستان کی 75ویں سالگرہ کی تقریبات کے طور پر 75 پودے بھی لگائے۔ بعد ازاں اساتذہ، اسکول انتظامیہ، منتظمین، رضاکاروں، کمپنی کمانڈرز اور کیمپ مینجمنٹ افسران کو کیمپ میں قابل ستائش خدمات انجام دینے پر سرٹیفکیٹ اور شیلڈز سے نوازا گیا۔
