Since its inception in 1997, Khairpur Branch has been rendering valuable services in the field of health benefiting almost 1.8 million people though its unique health and disaster infrastructure and facilities. Annually treating more than one hundred thousands patients.
District Khairpur has following health facilities:
Red Crescent Medical Complex:
This is a joint venture of INFAQ foundation. This hospital has 20 bedded capacity operational since march 2005. Hospital has been providing following services:
- ICU & CCU Services
- Midwifery Services
- RPI support
- Diagnostic Services
Red Crescent Emergency & Intensive Care Unit:
This is emergency and intensive care unit came into being on 29th November 1997. Unit can handle 6 emergency cases at a time round the clock. An isolation ward (ICUW) to be build.
Red Crescent Coronary Care Unit (CCU):
In collaboration of PHQ, district branch Khairpur has embarked upon another project to carter sizable population of heart patients who were forced to take risk of travelling for treatment. This unit is operational since 1st October 1998 having the capacity of 6 fully air conditioned units.
Red Crescent Dad Shah Memorial Dialysis Centre (DSMDC):
This Centre is operational since 20th November 1999, having 4 dialysis machines with reserve osmosis plant.
Other facilities include:
- Polio and Hepatitis Vaccination
- Ambulance service
